The Geography Department offers experiential and hands on education at all levels. Undergraduates have the opportunity to learn in the classroom, in the lab, and in the field as many courses encourage students to undertake research and writing projects that engage them. There are research employment opportunities for the most talented and dedicated undergraduates. Graduate students work closely with faculty members, are frequently employed on their research projects, and also pursue their own academic interests.
